Samba is a musical genre, from which derives a kind of dance, from African roots that emerged in Brazil and is considered one of the main popular Brazilian cultural expressions.
Among its original features, is a form where the dance is accompanied by short phrases and melodic choruses to create anonymous foundations of samba de roda born in Recôncavo and taken in the second half of the nineteenth century, the city of Rio de Janeiro by blacks brought from Africa and settled in the then capital of the Empire.
